POD32 is multi-definition SDI AES muxer that may be used to embed PCM or Dolby encoded AES signals into standard definition or high definition video data streams.   It supports both NTSC and PAL (525 and 625) SD video signals as well as 720p/59.94 and 1080i/59.94,50,60 HD video signals.  POD 32will allow the user to add to or strip out previously embedded audio signals.  Up to four AES signals may be embedded.  Optionally, a Dolby decoder may be added to POD32.  With the Dolby decoder installed, the decoded components’ signals are provided on the rear panel.  These may be processed externally and then re-embedded in the video data stream.  POD32 reclocks and reframes the input signal and provides two copies of this signal on the rear connector panel.  All connections to the device are made on BNC connectors.  The unit is equipped with a fused AC disconnect and will operate from mains power that varies from 90 to 230 volts at 50 to 60 Hertz.

Factory standard all PODS are supplied in a stand alone desktop POD-PACKAGE.  PODS in rack mount assemblies many be ordered as a factory option.

RMK1 - is a single 1 rack unit center mount assembly

RMK2 - is a dual 1 rack unit mount assembly (if different PODS are mounted side by side, please specify which unit is located on the left, and which is on the right)

RMK3 - is a dual 1 rack unit mount assembly including a front and rear blank panel set.  (please specify whether the blank is on the left or right)
