POD20 is a six output digital video distribution amplifier.  It features cable equalization and reclocking techniques that enable the unit to reliably recover the incoming SDI signal.  POD20 can receive and distribute digital video signals over coaxial cable (BELDEN 8281 or equivalent). An adaptive cable equalizer provides a complete solution for equalizing high-bit-rate digital data transmitted over long transmission lines.  The equalized data is retimed at one of the four standard data rates (143, 177, 270, or 360 Mbps) and is recommended for signals transmitted over cable runs up to 300 metres (1000 ft.) in 75 Ohm installations.  All inputs and outputs to POD20 are made via 75 Ohm BNC connectors located on the rear panel. POD20 is equipped with five LED status tallies, located on the front panel.

Factory standard all PODS are supplied in a stand alone desktop POD-PACKAGE.  PODS in rack mount assemblies many be ordered as a factory option.

RMK1 - is a single 1 rack unit center mount assembly

RMK2 - is a dual 1 rack unit mount assembly (if different PODS are mounted side by side, please specify which unit is located on the left, and which is on the right)

RMK3 - is a dual 1 rack unit mount assembly including a front and rear blank panel set.  (please specify whether the blank is on the left or right)
